Poppies on Silk

A few hours to make the correct frame to hold the fabric taut, two weeks to paint, a bit of a mess in the kitchen, two hours to steam the painting, and meticulous ironing of the silk resulted in this painting:

Dimensions: 33" x 22"

under poster frame finished 28" x 22"

Another picture with similar resist lines and with different colors, matted and framed under non-glare glass with framed dimensions of  39" x 31"

This poppy picture has the resist still attached to the silk
